I haven’t been writing on this blog for a really long time, it’s exactly almost four years since I wrote my last post about pandemic and conspiracy theories.
During these four years a lot of things have happened, the pandemic emergency has momentary left us but we have all these wars still coming,especially the one in Ucraine which is now two years, and the other one in Israel.
During these years I’ve been taking a long break from writing here because I didn’t have any time and strength, and a lot of things have happened in my life. I finally changed apartment at the end of of the year 2020 and been recording a lot of stuff with Echoes From A Great Distance ( now we’re just me and the bassist and the drums coming from Logic Pro ). And just 11 days ago I’ve finally got the Finnish citizenship after a process that lasted almost two years.
Also my other musical project, Sounds From The Marshes, has been on a hold for 4 years, and after this long break I decided to make it rise again and I recorded a tribute album dedicated to Vadim Vasilyev, Latvian artist known under the monicker Sun Devoured Earth, and mysteriously disappeared after his last release from 2013. And this won’t be the only one Sounds From The Marshes release this year, there are some other songs I’m working on.
But back on my blog, despite this long break, I have never stopped to check and I’m surprised that there are people who are viewing my posts and I’m surprised also that my old post about Rebecca Brown is raising some butthurts among “true believers” ( If I think that post is almost 5 years old).
So I decided to restart it again, because there’s still a lot I need to say
