Echoes From A Great Distance started in the year 2015, during my period at the Bible Institute in Kauniainen, improving my music studies. In the beginning it was me, Vikke and Samppa, who later left to join Samoaja ( Vikke’s indie-folk solo project ).
After the end of my program in Kauniainen, the formation changed, bassist Zsolt joined the band, followed, after a lot of turn-overs, by Lotus Taj guitarist Teemu Diver ( actually the only-one member from the original formation ).
Right now, after a lot of changes the band exists as a duo aka:
- Carlo Polo ( me ): vocals, guitars, programmed drums
- Andrea Ferrantelli: bass, backing vocals
